Everyone is truly treated like a star at Kimpton's Hotel Allegro in downtown Chicago. They remembered our names and upgraded us into one of the larger suites. There's an entry foyer that had a walk-in closet and opened into the main living area. The large bedroom and bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub was next to the living room. There were two TVs, one for Tim and the other for me.

While I enjoyed the luxurious comforts of our hotel room, Tim took at tour of Chicago on the Segway. He got to cruise along Lake Michigan, past Millennium and Grant Parks, through the museum campus, and even around Soldiers Field football stadium. He said there were spectacular views of Chicago's skyscrapers and fun facts about the city.
