Eddie Deen's Catering
During the conference, Tim and his business partner Vicki got lost finding a meeting location located outside the convention center. They finally made it to the Eddie Deen's Catering building and it turns out the meeting was moved to another location. Fortunately, they benefited from local Texas hospitality.
They were served a quick lunch and one of the employees offered to drive them to the new meeting location afterwards. As Tim said thank you, he asked the host's name and it turns out it was Eddie Deen, the owner himself who was taking care of Tim and Vicki. Tim later found out that Eddie Deen's Catering is one of the largest in the country and hosts more than 200 events a year, including the inauguration celebration for George W. Bush when he became governor of Texas and 12,000 people at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm hungry for bar-b-que.
